My goal:
To offer easy and nutritious recipes that anyone can make while being conscious of dietary restrictions. Food should be tasty and fun, and I hope to make accommodating to a variety of tastes and dietary needs less stressful.
My Story:
As my exposure to food and cooking has progressed, I’ve developed a love of creating meals that suit my dietary needs and restrictions. I personally do not consume dairy or soy due to intolerance/allergy issues, but I am a foodie through and through and refuse to believe that you have to sacrifice great tasting food. I enjoy finding substitutes so that I can enjoy the foods I want with a focus on fueling my body and staying healthy.
As I created and sent meal photos to a friend (and fellow food enthusiast), she suggested other people might really appreciate my recipes. She was speaking from knowing mothers who had to take on restrictive diets while breastfeeding babies with CMPA (cows milk protein allergy)or soy allergies. Understanding that finding substitutions and learning how to read food labels is daunting, I decided to share!
